It is decorated with hand painted flowers on the front and back and with gold foliate and a gold bird I assume that the gold is transfer printed, but may have been hand applied, Im unsure. The piece is unmarked, so Im also unsure of its origin to me, it looks Prussian, but possibly French. The jug measures 5 1 4 in height to the top of the lids finial and has a bottom diameter of 3 1 8. It
