The patina is a real nice whitewith a thin coat of polyurethane on it. Three faint rings & a nose cap ring can be easily seen. Three clear vertical slits can be seen in the side of this bulletevenly spaced around this bullet. In bullet photo a slit can be seen under the 189. Thomas states a feature usually evident on Enfield cartridges.
