6世紀以降の唐物の灰釉瓶子ですが、はっきりとした年代が特定できておりません。

本品はオランダで求めたものです。類例をほとんど見たことがなく、古美術商の話では、ドイツの塩釉ストーンウェアで作られた徳利瓶で、欧州を中心に流通したものだそうです。斬新な注ぎ口が彫られ、銅にはつたない文字で最高等日本醤油特別輸入と彫られています。

使えば使うほど、漆が禿げ、味わいとなる根来。日々の茶盆にいかがでしょうか。

古いものですが、状態よく、また5客揃ですので、茶会等お楽しみください。
