I suspect this will win a lot of control games once resources are consumed

The copy remembers any decisions that were made for the original spell as it was cast, including values chosen for X in its mana cost and whether any alternative or additional costs were chosen

While mechanically, this version of the vampire lord works the same as any other copy, the bloody delightful art of the special edition makes it a treasure to pull

The fact that you can play the exiled cards as long as you control Lightning is a nice bonus, but the lack of Haste here really kills the card, in my opinion
